5.0 out of 5 stars Get these bolts before you start, and some shims

Installation was easy after watching a few YouTube videos. The hardest part for me was getting the window clips off and back on.Buy the three pack of bolts shown in the picture before you start, I got them at either Lowe's or Home Depot. Also buy some shims when you pick up the bolts, similar to this: //www.amazon.com/Pro-Project-Never-Rot-Composite-Improvement/dp/B071FRHGXX/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=shims&qid=1615556236&sr=8-5You can just get the wooden version of these, they're pretty cheap and you don't have to buy a contractor pack from Amazon. With the window up, stick a stack of three of these between the window and where it goes down into the door to stop the window from dropping to the bottom when you remove the clips. They also keep the window out of your way while installing the regulator. Push them in so they are really tight. I only had a stack of two at first and the window dropped to the bottom, BAM! Two isn't enough.I couldn't use the motor from my old regulator because the hole pattern isn't even close to being the same. This regulator is faster than the original driver's side by a little less than a second.Overall I'm pleased with it, especially for the price.A side note for those that didn't know; the receiver for the remote is in the front passenger door panel, you can see the wire antenna taped to the panel, I was wondering, "what is this random wire just taped here...". One of the connectors you need to remove is for the remote receiver.

I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo that was built past the date described. The mounting did not match the original. We had to partially disassemble the new one to make alterations so it would mount on the door properly.
