Well they lost my paperwork and a week later when they finally found it they said the letter wasnt sent because I was approved but unfortunately I couldnt move in because they had no more apartments available. Coming from a former resident, I have absolutely nothing good to say about this complex. The office staff is incompetent, maintenance failed to fix any of the major issues we had in our unit, it is not in a safe area, and they charged a ridiculous amount for ¢damages¢ and did not work with us on anything.Let me explain: The office staff can¢t answer any questions you ask them and are constantly annoyed whenever you call or show up to the office. Maintenance failed to fix our A/C unit after it broke multiple times and blamed the heat on our TV. They also came to fix a leak 6 times in the bathtub because they couldn¢t get it right the first time. The complex itself charged $660 for a carpet replacement even though they forced me to have the carpet cleaned prior to move out, $115 for a plastic piece in the fridge, $30 for blinds that were missing when we moved in, and $300 for paint when we didn¢t paint to begin with and left the unit exactly as we found it.If you¢re looking for a decent place to live, try to not pick this complex as the residents don¢t mean anything to the landlord or owner, even though we are the sole source of income for them.If I could leave no stars I would. more ... less ...

She listens and does all she can to help find a solution that works for all so you dont end up on the street. People here need to know they can trust her. Dont avoid things if your running into a problem. Go talk to her, hopefully before your about to be behind. If you tell her first you can sit down and maybe work out a plan to avoid late fees or eviction. Its extremely difficult to get approved with an eviction on your record. She went over my entire payment history when I kept getting notices that were way more than I owed..and we found that I was right and she fixed it. She works for her money...working for you.The only real problem is the insane amount of roaches and spiders. I feel like the only thing that would decrease the roach population greatly would be to have the pest control guys or our maintenance guys use the roach killer in the tube that looks like peanut butter in every apts kitchen, bathroom, baseboards and window & A/C area once a week for at least 6 weeks straight. Then use real pest control company with more than water to spray once a week continuously to keep a handle on it. i wouldn¢t recommend staying at any complex that mckinley hyde park owns, would rate the whole company or management/maintenance teams with 0 stars if possible. i¢ve been living at westshore flats ii for almost a year i wouldn¢t recommend staying at any complex that mckinley hyde park owns, would rate the whole company or management/maintenance teams with 0 stars if possible. i¢ve been living at westshore flats ii for almost a year and anytime i¢ve submitted a maintenance request, it takes them two plus weeks to come and solve the issue. this last one for example even though it still hasn¢t gotten fixed was for my closet shelves that broke and fell on the floor, maintenance request was submitted on 19FEB22 and was closed out a whole month later but marked complete in the system with a date of 21FEB22. not only until i left a comment on the work order did management reach out to me about this problem and told me they have tried to get into my apartment on 3 different occasions, but were unable to access my unit but never told me that until i said something. so i scheduled an appointment for 21APR22 for them to fix this issue, and nobody showed to fix this issue even with a scheduled appointment, i even took off of work early to be there since they don¢t have a copy of my key which i don¢t know how when it¢s the same locks from when i moved in and they¢ve come in before when i wasn¢t home. this is unacceptable for the management and the maintenance teams to be doing this, i don¢t understand why any of us in these communities are paying all this rent to have this terrible service. not to mention them sending out rent reminders almost every other day for the first week of the month, because they want to get paid, but can¢t even fix our little issues to have us living in what should feel like a home. more ... less ...

Legend Oaks was a temporary place for me, but in the four months that I lived here, it was borderline decent. I did like the hours of the amenities such as the gym and pool. The cons of this complex is that it sits really close to the hospital so you can hear the helicopter fly over the complex. It wasnt enough quiet nights for me because I would either hear loud kids at the pool, an ambulance, and/or the helicopters. Trash pick up was great because there is a bin right outside your door to put or bags in. As far as the inside of the apartment, the house spiders, termites were everywhere. Even though they would have a service to come spray or get rid of them on certain dates, I just think it was not worth it to live there dealing with those kinds of bug issues. The roaches that I saw in my place were limited but when I did occasionally see one they were HUGE. The visitor parking was terrible and one time my husbands car got towed because there werent enough spaces. They only gave me one sticker for my car. Especially since they changed to ¢The Park at¢ property managers. They put this ugly reddish brown and tan color on everything which makes the apartment complex look so dated. But the units are updated nice countertops nice cabinetry. Which really is what matters.However none of the units have washers and dryers in it. And two out of the three laundry facilities usually are down especially on the weekends. The laundry situation was the main reason I decided to leave.Things I did like where that the location is great! So close to the bridge to go to either Saint peter Clearwater but also close to town if you want to go downtown/hyde park. Also so close to the airport that if you take a lot of trips I would recommend this apartment complex or another around here! The office people are nice. They¢ve helped me in a few binds when I¢ve locked myself out of my apartment or lost my keys. And also during Covid they didn¢t raise the rent which is great! I never felt unsafe or anything I would walk around the neighborhood on Memorial, and around Bay crest all the time more ... less ...
