Before now if you wanted a bumblebee that look this nice you had to go with the movie masterpiece. Studio seires put out a great figure with a few comprises.Tansformation is satisfying an I'm glad to see hasbro will put in the design effort when they want to.Only gripes are that the front fenders stick straight out from the shoulders and can't fold Back on the doors. And the Camaro he transforms into in the wrong one, production model camaro rather than concept camaro. The MPM BB has the same flaw.

The toy itself looks cool, but when you transform it its just almost impossible to do. I recommend this for older audiences. I recommend you to get a bigger version of bee, sure it may be more expensive but its much more easier

Hard to fold together - not for younger kids
My husband has to help him change it Into the car every time

Overall
I do not feel like this would be a good present for kids under 9-10. I could see them getting frustrated, or worse, breaking it. If you think you or your child won't be too rough with the figure you will be fine.
Transformation
Its transformation is boring, long, and complex.
Robot Mode
Pros
-Quite Movie Accurate
-Scales well with other
Studio Series figures
-Good upper-body mobility
Cons
- TERRIBLE feet, they don't snap-in and just flop around, making it hard to stand him in any dynamic pose
-Lots of backpack junk (I do quite mind myself but for those more specific)
-More friction-related pieces pop out in weird poses
-It feels as if a large majority of these joints will come loose over time
-Overall a small figure (About 4.25 inches in a stable pose)
Vehicle Mode
Pros
-Accurate Camaro
-It
rolls
-Pretty decent weight
Cons
-VERY small
-Pieces shift around (especially by the back window)

My kid has two transformers that I bought at family dollar. Those only come with about 5 steps. But this one came with over 20 steps. And the doors already fell off. Do not by for kids under 6. They will not know how to build it.

Got this as a birthday gift for my nephew . I didn't pay close attention to the size and was disappointed to how small it actually is BUT I got it for my nephew who absolutely loves it and enjoys transforming from robot to car. It was complicated for him at first but he quickly caught how it works.

This is easily the best version of Bee released through Studio Series. It doesn't fall apart like like the first version, or feel like it was rushed like the BB Movie version. Just a good, solid figure.
Transformation is complicated for a figure of its size, but it never feels frustrating, and both modes hold together nicely. All the joints are solid, and the weapon works well, and is much better implemented than the swapable arm on previous versions. I think the figure's proportions work better than previous movie iterations of the charcter (though Murder Bee from DOTM is still a great looking figure). I wish it had an alternate head, but that's a relatively minor complaint.
I'd say this is worth it if you're into the Studio line. If you just want the absolute best version of movie Bee, then go for the MPM version.

4.0 out of 5 stars SHORT BUT MOST MOVIE-ACCURATE!!
Reviewed in India 🇮🇳 on August 16, 2020
Apart from the fact that the Studio Series figures are a little on the shorter side, in general(this one stands under 5 inches, so minus 1 star for that🤣🤣🤣)....... this is THE MOST MOVIE-ACCURATE BUMBLEBEE at this price point, till date..... If you're okay with the figure being smaller than a Marvel Legends Far from Home Spider-Man, then definitely go for it..... I know I am okay with it, because even if I had doubts and was thinking of cancelling the order while it was in transit, when I finally received the package, I was pleasantly mesmerized by the detailing and how movie-accurate it turned out to be..... Here's hoping you will be too🤘😎👍!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible
Reviewed in Canada 🇨🇦 on March 17, 2021
Absolutely BRUTAL toy for an 8 year old, it’s so unnecessary how hard this thing is to transform from car to the man. While watching a YouTube video on how to transform it, it still took me over half hour to figure it out. So finicky, every single step. It would be easier to try and teach your kid how to solve a 5x5 rubix cube. ALSO, the thing is like the size of a hot wheels car. What a rip.
