Ensure heat setting is appropriate for hair type. Apply heat protection to entire head and comb through or to each sectoin as you go. Take one-inch square sections of hair for each curl. Begin curling near root, leaving mid-shaft and ends out. Slide hair through adding hair more and more hair as your curl until the ends reach the curling iron. This should last no longer than 5-10 seconds. Open and release curl. Allow to cool then comb through with Tangle Teezer Small to Full addle brush for soft defined curls. For looser beach waves, tug on end of hair immediate after releasing curl.
