Marine engines with catalytic converters have specific oil requirements. Some marine-grade oils contain high levels of phosphorous, which can damage catalytic converters. This oil contains low levels of phosphorous, reducing potential damage to the catalyst. Quicksilver 20W-40 keeps dirt and debris from settling on metal surfaces and provides exceptional rust protection.
