Enjoyed our stay. The location was quiet, and we still found plenty of options to dine. The breakfast and staff were fantastic. Will stay here again when in Charleston.

We were very pleased. As I read the reviews that others have posted, I tend to approach things with a critical eye. From the friendly staff, to the recently renovated room, to the included breakfast, it checked all the boxes. The room was quiet. Location was convenient for our stay. Very pleased and would recommend it. Thank you for a safe and comfortable stay.

I prefer to be able to open a window or have an exhaust fan in the bathroom. I had neither.

I booked this property based on price, location and breakfast. It did not disappoint. The location was perfect for our needs, very easy 5 minute drive to downtown area and the Mount Pleasant area was lovely. The breakfast was great: full hot meal of fresh biscuits, eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, fresh waffles, fruit, coffee and juices. The woman who ran the breakfast area was pleasant and friendly. The room appeared to have been recently redecorated, newish carpet and furnishings. Room had a microwave and small fridge. Very clean, with the exception of just one thing: there was mildew/mold in the caulk of the shower. One spray with Tylex would have handled that, I’m surprised the housekeeping staff didn’t take care of that. Other than that, the rest of the bathroom and room were well cared for, and we had daily service with fresh towels and the room tidied. Overall it was a great stay. The only issue I could have any complaint about was the front desk staff, they were not friendly at all. The guy who checked us in never smiled, was all business. He was on the phone making a reservation when I arrived, and I waited patiently for about 5 minutes. He never looked at me or acknowledged my presence at all. The front desk was right near the front entrance, however throughout our 3 day stay, not one staff member ever looked up to greet us as we walked by. It was odd considering the south’s supposed reputation for “southern hospitality”.
