In Jacksonville, you can double the doggy fun over two days in April with two events for good causes. DogFest Jacksonville is a celebration of the canine friends and heroes who bring joy to our lives. Everyone is invited for this day of fun, festivities, inspiring speakers, dog demonstrations, live music, food and more. All funds raised benefit Canine Companions for Independence and their mission of matching assistance dogs with children, adults and veterans with disabilities, free of charge.

The Bark Park Bunny Bash is a fundraising event at the Jacksonville PetSafe Bark Park which features a tennis ball-style Easter egg hunt. If Fido finds the special tennis ball, he’ll receive a prize. He can also pose for a pic with the Easter Bunny, enter a pet costume contest, and try his luck at a 50/50 raffle. Dogs are to be kept on their leash during the egg hunt, but off-leash fun within the park will resume afterward. Proceeds from the event go toward upgrades to the park.

DogFest 2022 in Jacksonville will be held on Saturday, April 9. The Bark Park Bunny Bash will take place on Sunday, April 10. Stay the weekend at this Cozy 1934 Cottage, which welcomes dogs of any size for no additional fee and makes for a perfect springtime getaway.
