Dragon boat festival 2023 st louis

About This Festival

The Miami Dragon Boat Festival returns to Miami Marine Stadium on April 18th, 9am-4pm. This event combines culture, sport and international flavors that incorporate a 2,500-year-old tradition with the fun and excitement of an outdoor festival.

Twenty paddlers move in unison, combining strength and teamwork in a boat whose elaborate design originates from ancient China. Community organizations and businesses alike embrace the sport because it builds camaraderie, forms connections and promotes healthy lifestyles.

Admission to this family-friendly event is free; races begin at 9:00am and will continue throughout the day. Festival grounds will offer a variety of activities for all participants and spectators. There will be multi-cultural performances throughout the day and the Health & Wellness Village features exciting products and services to assist in leading a healthy lifestyle. Grab a bite from one of our food trucks, enjoy watching the races in the beer garden, or shop in the Marketplace. Families with children can enjoy games and activities in the interactive Kids Zone. A portion of the proceeds of the event will be donated to Save Our Sisters.

New teams and individuals are welcome! Invite friends, family, colleagues - form a group of 16 to 25 people and sign-up a team today. Are you and only a couple of friends interested in paddling? No problem, a pay per seat option is available, contact us at  to join.
