The Franklin Hot Air Balloon Classic is located in the beautiful Harlinsdale Farm in Franklin, TN (239 Franklin Road – Across from the Factory at Franklin). This year’s event will include live music, a Kids zone, Food trucks, Craft vendors and a spectacular Hot Air Balloon Glow at dusk.
Middle Tennessee Hot Air Adventures is a family business nestled in the quiet town of Franklin, TN, just south of Nashville. We offer hot air ballooning services in Nashville & Franklin Tennessee as well as all surrounding areas. We pride ourselves in ballooning over less developed areas, lofting over hollows and hidden lakes, offering breath taking views of wildlife and the rolling hills of Middle Tennessee. The Franklin Hot Air Balloon Classic & Glow will take place on Saturday, June 12 at Harlinsdale Farm, 239 Franklin Road, Franklin.
Beginning at 4 p.m., you can visit the kid’s zone, listen to live music, shop at one of the many vendors and grab a bite from a food truck.
This event is a hot air balloon glow, no rides will be given at the event. Parking will be available on-site for free. You are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to sit and enjoy the glow. The balloons begin to inflate at dusk and glow for around an hour. This means balloons are usually up around 8:15 p.m., conditional on weather.
Only three thousand tickets will be sold. Purchase your tickets online here. No tickets will be sold at the event. Kids 5 and under are free.
The second annual Franklin Hot Air Balloon Festival will be held Saturday at Westhaven beginning at 4 p.m. It is the makeup date from the rainout of the originally scheduled event in May.
This year’s event will feature VIP access, a kid’s zone, live music, craft vendors, Nashville area food trucks, all culminating with a hot air balloon glow at dusk by Westhaven’s community lake.
Tickets purchased back in May will be honored on the July 29 date. VIP tickets are still available for $50 and include exclusive covered seating, two beer tickets, along with commemorative event T-shirt. General admission tickets are also still available for $15.
Ticket sales will be limited to a total of 5,000 attendees, so few tickets remain. Free parking is available, and guests will be directed within the community upon arrival.
Chairs, blankets and pets are welcome. A limited number of tethered rides and balloon walk-thru’s will be available.
The event will showcase some of Nashville’s local music featuring The Flat River Band, Brian Richey, Tim Carroll and Mac Leaphart.
