my 2005 Toyota sienna with 111,000 miles won't start. key turns all the way, lights work, but brake pedal frozen and motor won't start

I don’t know what brake pedal frozen means but it’s normal for the brake pedal to become very difficult to press after pressing it a few times with the engine off. Happens to most cars.

Is is no-click/no-crank/no-start, just no-start, click/no-crank, something else? You say it's not the battery, but the lights can work perfectly fine even if the battery is shot. Did you actually stick a multi-meter on it and see at least 12.x volts? I'd probably still stick jumper cables or a jump box on it just in case. If there's no click when you turn the key, you can try shifting the transmission out of gear (to L1) and then back up to park before trying to start it again. Alternately, I think you can try to start the van with it in neutral with the brake pressed, although I'm not sure that works on the Sienna. Were there any symptoms (i.e. check engine lights) leading up to this?

I don’t know anything about the brake pedal, but my 2004 would intermittently not start without any telling signs. I remember thinking that it might be the battery due to whatever it was doing, and trying to jumpstart it. But IIRC it turned out to be the starter motor.

So, you might find some clues if you search on that.
