Before you begin filling out the formBefore filling out the account recovery form make sure you have a working email that Microsoft can use to communicate with you. It will also help if you fill out the form from a recognized device and location. 1. Have a working emailYou'll need a working email account that you can access. We'll use this account to send you information about your request. You can use any active email account, even one belonging to a friend or relative.
