Will this relining kit work for my pool?

Good question. This kit is designed for pop-up style pools without metal walls (also known as tube frame pools). These pools have frames made of metal or pvc tubes and a liner with pockets for the tubes to slide through. Currently, these kits only work on frames with round tubes along the top ledge of the frame. Our kit supports pool brands such as Intex, Summer Waves (excluding Summer Waves Elite versions), Coleman, and other standard tube frame pools with round tube poles. Our kits DO NOT work with tube frame pools that have oval or flat-topped poles along the top ledge of the pool frame, such as the Summer Waves Elite versions.

What comes with the relining kit?

The kit comes with one of our standard overlap above ground pool liners (no pre-cut holes or pockets) and a set of special clips to clip the liner on to the pool frame. The clips fit on standard 1 ½” and 1 ¼” round tube frame pools. We also provide detailed instructions to help with installation and maintenance.

How do I install it?

Installation is easy! First, drain pool water. Once the pool is dry, simply lay the new liner on top of your old liner and reline. Once the new liner is centered and in place, clip the liner onto the pool frame using the clips along the top edge of the pool — all the way around. Then, cut holes where the pump return and skimmer are located and reinstall over the liner. Fill the pool with water and you are ready to swim! Please note: The kit will only work if the old, leaky liner is left installed in your pool to act as the pool walls.

What’s the benefit of a relining kit?

It comes down to time and money. The relining kits are an economic and stress-free alternative to replacing your entire tube frame or soft-sided pool.

How do I measure my swimming pool?

To get the measurements for your pool size, measure from inside wall to inside wall. To measure your pool’s depth, measure from the deepest point of the pool on the floor to the top of the inside of the pool wall. Don’t just measure the actual pool walls. It generally works best if you have two sets of hands. You can read more about measuring your pool here.

If I don’t see my pool size as an option for a relining kit, can I buy the next size up and use that? Will it fit properly?

No. Our pool liners are made to fit the exact measurement of your swimming pool.

Do you have a warranty for your pool liners?

Yes. Our above ground pool liners and relining kits come with a 25 year, prorated manufacturer’s warranty that covers manufacturer defects. We recommend all customers read through our warranty carefully before purchase.

Can you replace a section of the pool liner?

Patching your pool liner can work on a tear as little as 2-inches and as big as 8-inches depending on location and pool age. For example, if you have a 2-inch tear near your filtration system and your pool is ten years old, you can temporarily patch it while shopping for a new vinyl liner.

Can you put new pool liner on old?

Can you put a new vinyl pool liner over an old one? We do not recommend leaving your old pool liner in your above ground swimming pool when replacing the liner. It may seem like an extra layer of protection, but in reality, it will create more problems for you.

Are pool liners interchangeable?

Universal Bead One style of liner can be installed on any setup you have—the universal or unibead liner. This style is shaped like a J-hook, and can be installed the same way. If you have a beaded liner track, just trim off the top edge of the unibead, and it works just like a standard beaded liner.
