Staff in the hotel is great, especially Senka from front desk... She is so frendly and kind, also we where really surprised she speaks ex Yugoslavian laguages. On other side hauskeepers should work more on the cleaning bathrooms. Location is also great, 3minutes walk from the Time Square.

Hotel's Favorite

This is my second stay here. Great location right next to Times Square. Got a free upgrade for my birthday which was a big plus. The room in the 18th floor was upgraded and modern. Bathroom lovely with rain shower head and good pressure. Not alot of counter space though. Room very clean. Front desk service friendly and helpful. Although no valet, parking easy just around the corner. Easy to walk to many places from this hotel. This is my second stay at this hotel. I would stay again. The non upgraded rooms are a bit more aged but we’re still clean. For me, you aren’t going to NYC to just stay in the hotel, but this is a very good one at an affordable price point.

The rooms on the website are not the rooms you get. The first we got had such a bad smell we had to move to another. The second room was filthy, phone, lamps, heating and air conditioning didn't work along with most outlets. Didn't receive towels most days. Smells bad. Bathroom was full of mildew and bathtub was soft. We thought we were going to fall through it. Staff are very unhelpful.

For this Hotel to have just been renovated it needs so many more updates. Our air didn't work in our room so each night we all burned up. We asked for someone to look at it but no one ever showed up to do so. The room was not clean at all, and to top it off there was a surprise in our toilet when we checked in. For the price that we paid it was not worth it at all. This hotel has no amenities to go along with the prices of the rooms. Don't waste your time with this hotel or any in Time Square. If we ever come back to NYC we will not be staying downtown. The atmosphere of Time Square has drastically changed since we have been to NYC. Its a shame because there are so many amazing tourist attractions.

I stayed at this hotel in October 2022. Don't be deceived by the pictures on their website. Those are not the standard rooms they give you. We were with a group of 10 rooms. All the rooms were old, dirty and not taken care of. Serious concerns about mold and mildew in the room. The bathtub was soft on the bottom and we were worried about falling through it. Crumbling ceiling, lamps, outlets and phone not working. The heating/air conditioning systems was not working. You can open a window (if you can get it open) but the traffic noise will keep you up at night. Think twice before staying here!

Very disappointed in the Manhattan Times Square. The rooms shown on the site are not close to the room we stayed in. Some of the floors may have been updated in the last couple decades, not so in the room my husband and I stayed in. Peeling wall paper, stained carpet, old mattress, bedside tables that had holes worn in the top, mold and rust in the bathroom and body hair in the bathtub that was not my own. The location is great but would recommend looking at other places to stay. Looking at other reviews (to late to change my stay) this has been an ongoing issue for quite some time and obviously has not been changed by the property. If you show nice rooms people are going to expect those rooms.

Absolutely terrible!!! Dirty bathroom. Hair on the floor, in the tub, and on the tub wall. Vents covered with dust and debris-- a total breeding ground for legionnaires and other airborne diseases. Old mattress with stains. Out dated decor. The pink tiles in the bathroom must be from the 60's. The faucet was broken. The sink had a crack and there was rust around the drain. I've seen better furniture at the Goodwill store! We could not stay in such a place so we checked out. Unfortunately I was not able to upload the 90-second long video, but I did take screen shots.

William and John at the Grab and Go inside the Manhattan at Times Square Hotel on 7th Ave are such great guys! Each morning, they'd take great care of my breakfast and excellent upbeat conversation. So kind, conscientious. The team of Porters were awesome! Smiling, Friendly, helpful. Always greeted me. The housekeeping team was wonderful. Went out of their way. The staff at the desk was less helpful.

We booked this hotel for one night hoping for a comfortable spot during a long layover in NYC. Seeing the nightmare reviews I called ahead to be reassured there would be no Mold or dust in our room as I am allergic and will be sick. Upon checking in, we walked into a room SO DIRTY, toilet paper covered in ?dirt or dust. We spoke to the manager at the front desk who informed us nothing could be done to clean the room, he would have someone bring us one roll of toilet paper. Almost 2 hours later at 130am someone arrived. There was no garbage can, dirt/stains/grease all over the headboard, see through sheet on the mattress that was evidently broken. The door did not close properly. Dirty, ripped up carpet. Smell in the room alone would make you sick. I have stayed in many hotels and this is WORSE THAN ANYWHERE or any Motel there is. We left at 5:30am to get out of there. Unacceptable and unbelievable this hotel is still open and ripping people off like this. I am now sick because of what was supposed to be an enjoyable stay.
