Transfer money from skylight account to bank account

My work recently switched from good ol' fashioned checks to these pre-paid debit cards. How can I transfer all of my weekly checks from NetSpend Skylights to my own bank account?

I've been told that I need to go to an ATM and deposit it for a fee? How does this make sense?

Pizza hut uses the same stupid card. The only easyish way I have figured out to to transfer money from it is through FB messenger. Me and my GF both get our milage and tips paid with the skylight card. We both also bank at the same regular bank. I send her money from skylight through messenger and it deposits instantly in her bank account and then she transfers it to me through instant transfer in our bank app and then do it the same for the other skylight card. We do it differently because we both have accounts and only one transfers the difference to the other

If you and your son both have the same bank and can instant transfer funds, he should be able to send you $xx amount on FB messenger and it will go in your bank and then you can instant transfer it to him.

It's a major pain but it can be done.

Can I transfer money from Skylight?

Unfortunately Skylight One is a NetSpend rechargeable card, and does not support any direct transfers, leaving you with only the indirect option that you've already mentioned.

Can you transfer NetSpend money to bank account?

You cannot transfer money from NetSpend to a bank account. You can only transfer money to people who also have Netspend cards. You can do that online by logging in to your account and selecting "Send Money". However, you can receive money on NetSpend from any U.S. bank account.

Can you transfer money from a skylight card to Cash App?

You currently can't use a prepaid card on Cash App to add funds to your account. Cash App accepts linked bank accounts and credit or debit cards backed by Visa, American Express, Discover, or MasterCard.
