Santorini is not for small kids and older people Extremely Noisynikia352022 , FRIENDS Sep 16, 2022 Hotel in general is ideal, location wise it’s a 10 minute walk to universal, buses provided also to universal which run all day until I believe 3:30AM back from city walk, on site food is very pricey, would recommend the 7/11 store located next door to the hotel on the right! Their prices are incredible rather than paying $8 for a soda in the hotel you can get a XL soda or slush in 7/11 for just $1. Pool is meant to be open until 11pm but is usually closed by 2/3pm due to thunder and lightning in the area. Don’t really see why they are so strict with this when there could be blazing sunshine still but the first spot of a rain cloud and the pool is closed immediately Room cleanliness, beds are made every day generally however the floor in the room is covered in sand from the pool area for days on end and I don’t think they do sweep the floors often. Noise…. Now this was a huge problem for us, we could hear every single thing that was going on in the hallways, rooms either side and in particular above, called reception at 6am 3 days in a row to complain about the noise from the room above all they say is they’ll send security up to tell them to quiten down. The only thing I can describe is they must have had those trunkee ride on suitcases for their kids and at 6am every single morning the kids would race from one end of the room to the other consistently for hours. To the point I was convinced the ceiling was gonna fall through at any moment. Loud stomping, draws banging open and closed it was just a joke. Can hear every single conversation that people are having at every hour of the day. Do not stay here if you are wanting a decent nights sleep. Wi-Fi in the hotel isn’t the best, constantly disconnects and become extremely annoying after a while. There are no transfers to and from Disney from universal hotels understandably being their competition however the amount of people that book this hotel under the impression that they get transfer to Disney included is incredible, minimum price you’ll pay for an Uber to Disney is $22 that’s $44 dollars a day which is a lot of money if your looking to get to Disney a few times on your trip. Would highly recommend Avanti Palms on international drive who do provide free transfers to and from Disney and again is a 15 minute walk max to universal. Early park access is not worth it really, they’ll open the park at 8am for universal hotel guests however you’ll spend 30 minutes getting to the other side of the park which is where everyone else is heading to get on the Hagrid ride! The queue time will tell you it’s 60 minutes however if it says 60 minutes chances are you will get straight on this ride, I think they whack the wait time up to put people off this ride straight away, however it’s a bit cheeky because they do 9/10 delay this ride opening until 9am when the park opens fully. Also you can only gain early access to two rides which are the Hagrid ride and Velocicoaster. You will not be able to get on any other rides until 9am. The pool was fantastic, even when busy it still felt like you had all the space you needed. The rooms were clean and fresh (thanks cleaners on keeping our rooms spotless), the only downside was not enough wardrobe or drawer space for a family of four in a single room. The beds and pillows were very comfy, and yes the walls are thin but we never heard our neighbours, we heard more through the doors when children were running up and down the corridor in excitement!!! And why not they’re just having a good time. The staff we spoke to were friendly, and would bend over backwards to assist you to solve any issues. Why pay a fortune, when you can have an amazing experience on a smaller budget. The transport to the parks was out of this world (much better than Disney) we never waited more than 5 minutes before a bus rolled up to whisk us to our park of choice. Staff members are really kind, they helped at every demand we had, rooms were what we expected, we highly recommend this hotel, it was a really nice experience, we will definetely come back soon What is the difference between universal dockside and Surfside?Surfside is easier to get around due to smaller size. Some guests mention feeling confused how to get back and forth from room to lobby. However, Surfside only has one pool and Dockside has two pools and guests give a slight preference to amenities at Dockside pools. Dockside has a larger lobby and food court.
Can you walk from Endless Summer to Universal Studios?Unlike the other resorts at Universal Orlando, Endless Summer Resort is not within walking distance of the parks or CityWalk. It's a short bus ride, but it's located across Interstate 4, so you can't (or at least shouldn't) walk to the parks. However, we found the shuttle buses to be incredibly efficient.
Does Universal Endless Summer have free breakfast?No it does not offer free breakfast.
How long is the bus ride from endless summer to Universal Studios?Services depart hourly, and operate every day. The journey takes approximately 38 min.
