 Show 5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Impressed! As have many other reviewers, we also have several pets(7 cats, 2 dogs) and have had them for several years. Of course, messes in the house have always been a thing. Recently, I noticed the paint about a foot above the baseboard on our stair landing was rippling. Yep....oldest tomcat(neutered) had been spraying. I peeled off the paint and the drywall behind was mush(hence new drywall in photo). Also, a couple of studs and footer were stained. You can see in photo how large the area was where they'd peed on floor and in hallway at top of stairs. I wish I'd taken photos before we started clean-up(my husband was eager to get started!). So, wall studs and particle board had soaked in cat pee. I've used COUNTLESS products in the past, only to have the odor masked for a few hours, days maybe, and the stains to reappear within a few days. I sprayed the areas affected and let sit for a bit, then used a towel to absorb. I sprayed again and scrubbed in a bit, let it sit for several hours, then toweled again. Then, ran a blower fan for several hours to speed up drying. Yes, as you can see, there still is staining on the floor, which we expected bc its particle board, BUT THE SMELL IS GONE!! Not just masked, but gone. My husband has a keen sense of smell and can't smell any embedded cat smell in the floor. Will wait a bit before finishing floor, but plan to paint it with KILZ stain and odor blocker to add an extra barrier. I’ve tried so many different pet cleaning products over many years and this is the best by far. I have ivory colored carpets and sometimes my very nervous cat has accidents. You can imagine what nasty cat diarrhea looks like on a medium pile ivory carpet. It’s scary! I blot up the mess with paper towels, then use a liberal amount of this mixed with water, and apply by squirting it out of the hose on my Little Green Machine. I let the solution sink in for a few minutes then use the Little Green Machine to suck up the mess. My carpets look like nothing happened. It’s like a miracle. Sometimes I go over it again just to be sure but usually it’s not necessary. It works on cat pee and puke too. It has a clean fresh scent that I find very pleasant. My cat had a UTI and was having accidents everywhere on the hard wood and this pulled out the smell and stain within 2 uses. I did scrub the floor by hand with a dish sponge after letting it sit for 20 minutes but it was absolutely worth it. The fall spice smell is incredible if you like the smell of cinnamon but for some reason to me it smells a bit strange when you first spray it. So when I find the time to move my furniture to clean the pee has set. It’s gross I hate it. I used this stuff 2 days ago in one room and used it for the rest of the house today. It soaks in so well that I only use the scrub brush when it’s really needed.
