To understand the Advance Dining Reservations calculator, it’s important to first understand how ADRs work. If you are not familiar with the process, the following information will help you get started. What are Advance Dining Reservations?Disney’s Advance Dining Reservation System (ADR) allows you to make dining reservations at Disney World’s table service restaurants. Advance Dining Reservations can be made by any Walt Disney World guest, including those staying off Disney property. There are literally hundreds of dining options throughout Disney World – ranging from upscale, casual, family, and themed restaurants – and plenty of dinner shows and character dining events to choose from. The benefit of making Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs)It can be a challenge just to walk into a full-service restaurant and expect to get seated, even during the low season. So if fine dining and character dining is a top priority on your Disney vacation wish list, plan on making your ADRs as soon as you are eligible to do so. To start with, consider booking Advance Dining Reservations for a few hard-to-get table service restaurants – and maybe one character dining experience – when your 180-day (update: this has changed to 60 DAYS during COVID) window opens. Don’t worry if you are unable or unwilling to book all your dining at 180 days (update: this has changed to 60 DAYS during COVID). Unless you are going to Disney World during the busiest times of the year, you should still be able to book at least a few table-service restaurants as your departure nears. Also, keep in mind that Disney World has plenty of quick-service dining options that don’t require reservations. One thing is for sure – you will never go hungry at Disney! Booking your Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs)Secure your table at some of Disney’s most popular restaurants by booking your Advance Dining Reservations. On-site Disney Resort Guests can make ADRs 180-days before their check-in date (update: this has changed to 60 DAYS during COVID) and can book them for up to 10 days past their check-in date. Off-site Guests can make their ADRs for each day at 180-days (update: this has changed to 60 DAYS during COVID) of their arrival date. Use the Advance Dining Reservations calculator to determine the dates on which you’re eligible to book your selections. You can make dining reservations online, by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. The Disney Reservation Center phone line is available between 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, Mon-Fri, and 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM Sat and Sun. Online booking starts at 6:00 AM EST. They are helpful and efficient, and their assistance is completely free of charge! Which Restaurants are eligible for ADVs?Advance Dining Reservations can be made at restaurants in Disney Springs, the 4 Disney World theme parks, and at Disney Resort hotels. ADRs can also be made for dinner shows and special dining events. Keep in mind that Disney World lounges and quick-service restaurants do not take ADRs.
