The Bachelorette Season 19 is trekking along, and now only 14 men remain. And to think, we started the season four weeks ago with 32 men. I’m so glad they’ve dwindled to over half of what they started with; it was too many guys. Anyway, this week’s episode was quite dramatic and again focused on how one Bachelorette has power over the other. The women aren’t mad at each other, but it’s starting to get a bit out of control with the whole “Team Rachel” and “Team Gabby” thing. Like why do they need to do that?! During this week’s episode, more men declared their love for Gabby over Rachel. She was once again pushed to the side and ignored by her “team of men”. To make matters worse, Hayden M. was talking crap all the time about both women (not cool), and Logan P. realized he wanted to try and be with Gabby rather than Rachel. It was a chaotic frenzy; sadly, it is just getting started. Who was sent home during The Bachelorette Season 19, Episode 4?Jordan, Quincey, and Kirk were sent home after a whirlwind trip to France with the women during the rose ceremony. If you are wondering, Jordan was on Team Rachel, and the other two were on Team Gabby. The eliminations did not stop there, though. “Meatball” told Rachel about Hayden’s comments about her and Gabby. It wasn’t pretty and involved commentary about breasts and something about not trusting “these b****hes. A very angry Rachel confronted Hayden and sent him home promptly, without listening to his lies. And thank goodness for that; he was so full of crap and tried to deny something he was caught on camera saying. Au revoir, Hayden, you will not be missed. Ever since Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia were announced as the next dual Bachelorettes — a first for the franchise — fans have wondered how, exactly, their season would work. Why Did Gabby & Rachel Cancel The Rose Ceremony?Right away, Gabby and Rachel proved that they’d be writing their own rules this Bachelorette season. Case in point? They opted to cancel the first rose ceremony because they simply didn’t get a chance to meet with every contestant. “That would be doing ourselves and you all a disservice — so we are asking you to move forward with us next week, and cancel the rose ceremony tonight,” Gabby explained. However, the pair did privately part ways with a few men they knew weren’t quite cutting it. Why Did Twins Justin & Joey Go Home?Despite the lack of a formal rose ceremony, the Bachelorettes managed to rule out several suitors. Twins Justin and Joey Young were sent home during the July 11 episode. Earlier in the episode, Gabby and Rachel didn’t seem too impressed by Justin and Joey’s degree of #twinning. “The conversation ... just ain’t working with me, kind of romantically,” Gabby said “I feel like I can’t build a very strong bond with either of the twins.” Rachel agreed in her own confessional. “I don’t know if they’re trying to get us to go on double dates, planning for the future, but definitely hard to form a connection when there’s multiple people sitting here,” she said. “Not into it.” Why Did Roby Go Home?Roby Sobieski was also sent home during the Bachelorette season premiere.
