Family-Friendly Hotel

The Wyndham Garden San Diego is designed with families in mind. The game room will appeal to younger travelers, while the hotel pool can give the whole family a chance to unwind and soak up the sun. The hotel also offers family suites, featuring a king bed for the parents and bunk beds for the kids.

Cons:Very noisy, our room was on the first floor and come morning time we could here everything going on out side. All the house keeping carts going back and fourth, bouncing over the seams in the concrete, voices, and guests packing their cars. All that made it impossible to sleep. The room otherwise was clean, and recently remodeled to look nice.

The property has restaurants and the Pechanga Arena within walking distance. However, the downtown area has many homeless staying around the hotel.

The room was very large, and clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The shower was excellent for pressure and hot water. It had lots of outlets to plug in and charge devices. We appreciated the mini fridge and microwave.

We had roaches in the room, parking was a nightmare due to construction right in the middle of the property. Bathroom had deteriorating wall trims.

The staff was excellent. Ginger helped me and she was friendly and helpful. The property was not exactly as shown in the pictures. While clean, the pictures on the website are clearly "tinder" pictures.

We had two Queen beds in our room, per my request. Although the room needs updating, I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the room. It’s quite spacious and clean. I also requested the room on the ground floor for easy access which was my mistake. We’ve heard every single noise, conversation and movement outside of our room. I didn’t bother to change rooms as we were only there for a couple of nights but I’ll be sure to request for a room on the upper floors.

Checking in and staffing was awesome, very nice sweet and polite. We went to our room and it looks great, all remodeled so we felt comfortable staying there. In the morning when we woke up there was a huge black widow on the ceiling and the bathtub had a centipede!! I was so uncomfortable this has never happened to me while staying at a hotel. Thankfully we were able to switch rooms but i was terrified regardless
