I need to replace the crankshaft position sensor on my car. Where exactly is this located? Do you have the same problem? You should also plan on installing a timing belt kit in the process. If you have never done a timing belt on an engine like this you may want to enlist professional help. One mistake in this area can cost you an engine. Drove fine on flat surface, dogged and/or shut off on any incline. 016 error. Now won't start. Replaced CVV intake and exhaust solenoids. Replaced cam sensor. Code 340 or 341 somewhere along this process.". I replaced the MAF, CVV's and cam sensor based on research into the codes below. I found the location of the crank sensor tonight, but if I need equipment I don't have to program/re-learn, I'm not going to replace it myself. I'm limited physically to do some things.
