Will the 2022 Mazda 3 have a manual transmission?The common transmission is a slick 6-speed automatic, but a 6-speed manual is available. The EPA rates the base Mazda 3 at 28 mpg city, 36 highway, 31 combined, while the sedan with the larger 2.5-liter engine gets just a shade less at 26/35/30 mpg with FWD and 25/33/28 mpg with AWD–the hatchback drops by 1 mpg.
Can you get a Mazda 3 with a manual transmission?The 2022 Mazda 3 Hatchback with front-wheel drive and the Premium package comes with a six-speed manual transmission and starts at $28,700. It's the only trim that offers it. If you're on a budget, you'll be hard-pressed to find a car with as much value as the Mazda 3.
