Bank bonuses are great, but setting up a direct deposit from your employer or government benefits is often a big, frustrating requirement for many promotions.

Most bank bonuses have a few things you need to do to earn them. For example, you may have to keep a certain amount of money in your account at all times or an average daily balance. You may also have to meet a minimum deposit requirement when you open an account.
