May 21, 2022 Although the check-in process was delayed a bit, rest of the stay was very comfortable. The staff is very courteous, they connect with guests very well. Rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Amazing food at the restaurant. They went a step ahead in providing the right food for my husband who had a toothache. Hotel is maintained well. Staff is friendly and non intrusive. They have one of the better pools i've seen. The beach isn't too far either. There good pubs nearby to hangout. They have an open bar near the pool if you don't feel like going out. Food was good all 3 days. Since we checked out early they even packed us breakfast for the road. Five stars for that one. Jan 01, 2022 Room was spacious, sleep quality was good with excellent mattress and pillows, breakfast buffet had good variety, dip-ti in restaurant was extremely diligent and staff like her makes a huge difference. Pool area is nice and most of the rooms face inside which is a positive. Room balcony has sufficient space to sit and relax. On improvements - lobby decor was visibly dated and so was upholstery in the restaurant, etc. May be extended covid lockdown impact but hotel should urgently refurbish the lobby area to avoid reputation impact. Housekeeping was mixed bag with the person missing to replenish some items everyday. Parking space is a little limited but was manageable with adjustments, with covid more people may have opted for driving so understandable. Oct 01, 2022 We arrived at radisson country inn & suites with immense expectation after viewing the photographs- but sorry to say the pics featured are are not representative of the actual property. The reception lobby is very ordinary, with no air conditioning and a staff to attend to your arrival. The first impact of the property is very average with ordinary decoration and random placement of paintings & artefacts having little or no aesthetic cohesion. The corridor leading to the rooms are narrow and claustrophobic, overlooking the back garden which doubles up as a dumping yard. The water stained plastic sheets hanging on the sides give it a very very dismal and out-rightly disappointing look reminiscent of a budget boys dormitory/ hostel. The supposedly ' superior room ' offered to us was dusty, ill -maintained and with poor furniture. It had a damp & stale odor which spoke of neglect & apathy. We could not imagine ourselves staying in the room whatsoever. After intense lobbying, they provided us one on the ground floor which was slightly better than the earlier one. The rooms are spacious & large with an efficient air-conditioning. The bathrooms are very basic with minimalistic fittings. The polish on most of the furniture is overdue - there is a thin layer of dust in the nooks & corners of the furniture. Though everything is in place, the cohesive upkeep & maintenance is missing. The breakfast spread is elaborate and quite sumptuous with great choice of offering. Most of the guests have their first meal here and then leave the property for sightseeing & meals for the day. The service staff is polite, courteous and eager to help which somewhat makes up for the shortcoming. The main drawback is the old property which demands immediate and continuos improvement and upgradation, which is conspicuously absent.
