I don't know why it says you need 2 people to assemble it, I had no problem putting it together by myself, I have a bad back and a torn ACL, AND I had a stomach bug that day. The description didn't make alot of sense, it said it came from a company that always has products come fully assembled, but then listed as requiring partial assembly, but needed to be fully assembled including a second set of assembly instructions for the furnace. The details also say it's a "color changing furnace" but it's only blue with an orange flame and different brightness settings,I have a couple issues with the product, the first was my fault, in a rush to purchase this item on sale, I didn't realize the shelves were not wide or strong enough for my Onkyo surround sound receiver. The other issue is the cams used in assembly crumbled when being tightened, so it's technically unstable right now. Do not put obstructions on the air outlet. The ETL-certified fireplace has a thermal cut-off device, which will start after overheating, the flame will continue, but the heat will be cut off. Safe for your baby and pet.
