Liked: Staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities Loved the property but one important issue i need to mention is the NEED for better navigation of your property areas i.e. Cascades, Delta etc. I am excellent with directions however it tooks us 45 minutes to get back to our room from dining. our stay and recommend the hotel. However, you should know this place is big, huge, enormous. That may be what you want, but in all my years I've never got lost trying to find my room even with 2 days getting to know the place. We couldn't find anything and repeatedly got lost. We were at the far end of the resort and the walk to your room is not for elderly or disabled. It's a haul, let me tell you. Lots of options for dining and beautiful landscaping in the hotel. But, we would probably not
choose to stay here again just because of the size. That is likely a good thing to most other people. Is it free to get into Opryland?No, but if you are arriving by car they do charge $29 to park in their lots. If you are willing to walk, you can park at the Opryland Mills shopping mall and walk from there. over a year ago.
Why is it called Gaylord Opryland?The hotel was originally built to support the Grand Ole Opry, a Nashville country-music institution that had moved to the area three years before.
