Get the Most From Your Fan With the Right Ceiling Fan Parts and Accessories

Love your fan but not the light kit that came with it? The good news is that with a new ceiling fan light kit from Lowe’s, you can update the light kit without replacing the whole fan. Whether you want a simple one-light kit or a four-light kit to give your room extra brightness, we have multiple options to choose from.

Light options include LED ceiling fan light kits as well as incandescent and halogen bulb kits. Along with bulb type, lumens are also a good attribute to consider. Bulbs with more lumens will be brighter than bulbs with fewer lumens.

Shopping for other ceiling fan accessories? We have accessories from plenty of brands, including handheld or wall-mounted Hunter fan remotes, Kichler downrods and more.

We also carry ceiling fan parts, including mounting hardware and replacement blades. Check out a ceiling fan dimmer switch if you want to control the amount of light your ceiling fan emits. Simply need a ceiling fan replacement part, such as a new pull chain to turn your fan on and off? We have a variety of lengths and finishes to choose from. What are ceiling fan arms called?

Blade irons (also known as blade brackets, blade arms, blade holders, or flanges), which hold the blades and connect them to the motor.

How are ceiling fan blade arms measured?

Standing on a step ladder as needed, hold one end of a tape measure to the tip of a fan blade on a fully assembled fan. If the unit has an even number of ceiling fan blades, extend the tape measure to the end of the opposite blade and record the distance from tip to tip.
