Please note that this office is for interstate commercial vehicles only. Driver license, title work, or non-interstate commercial vehicle registrations will not be processed.

    How do I contact Florida DMV by phone?

    Florida Drivers Ed In most cases, you may visit a Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles office without making an appointment. However, making an appointment prior to your visit will allow you to avoid long lines and save time.

    Why would I get a letter from Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles?

    If your insurance company notifies us that you cancelled or removed a vehicle from a policy, and your vehicle has a valid Florida registration and no other active Florida policy is reported by another insurance company, the department sends a letter notifying you to provide the required insurance coverage information.
