Soap Base for soap crafting. Goat's milk is naturally high in vitamins and minerals. It is also rich in butterfat, which makes it the perfect moisturiser. Vitamin E, which is beneficial to the skin, is found in abundance in this soap. There are no added colours or scents, but it has a creamy smooth texture that is nourishing for the skin and makes a fabulous moisturiser. Glycerin, a natural emollient, draws moisture from the air to the skin. Please note that the Goat's Milk Soap may not lather as well as other soap bases. Is Stephenson melt and pour natural?Stephenson All Natural (HF) Melt & Pour Soap Base. This is a vegetable based, melt and pour soap base, made from natural ingredients and free from any Surfactants or MPG. Produces natural translucent soap bars. Crystal HF is less irritating to sensitive skin, this Melt and Pour base is a great versatile soap base.
How do you use Stephenson melt and pour soap?To use, simply cut the base into manageable chunks in a bowl, melt them in the microwave and then mix in your oils, fragrances and dried botanicals. Once you've made your mixture, you can pour the soap into a mould to create your shape and let it set.
How long does it take for goat milk soap to work?We allow our soap to cure for a full 6 weeks, but if you are super anxious you can use it at 4 weeks. The soap is safe to use from 2-4 weeks cured, but it will not last very long if you do. To cure, you want to place your soap in a place out of direct heat or sunlight where it can get airflow.
