Disney deluxe family oceanview stateroom with verandah

During the christening cruise aboard the Disney Wish, I stayed in stateroom 7128, a Category 4C Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah. In general, the deluxe family oceanview stateroom with verandah category offered on the Disney Wish is about 284 square feet with the room offering a split bath, queen bed, single convertible sofa, upper-berth pull-down bed, and a single wall pull-down bed (Murphy bed) if sleeping 5 which this room does.

Stateroom 7128 is located on the port side of deck 7 in close proximity to the aft elevator lobby. A connecting stateroom door to stateroom 7130 is opposite the Murphy bed.

Over at the desk/vanity you will find a mini-drawer refrigerator. It is a pull out drawer, not the typical “cooling box” reminiscent of a mini-fridge found on the other ships.

The hair dryer in the stateroom was a Bentley Europe Levante hair dryer.

Since my stay in this room was during a preview cruise, I will not be reviewing the accommodations. Instead, I am simply presenting a video tour.

If you are interested in my thoughts on various aspects of a Disney Wish stateroom, please see my review of the stateroom I stayed in during the Maiden Voyage.

Have you stayed in this type of room, what did you think about it? Do you have a stateroom review to share? You can submit your own stateroom review. Start by searching for your stateroom on this page, then look for the link titled Submit your own stateroom review.

What is the difference between a deluxe stateroom and a deluxe family stateroom on a Disney cruise?

Size seems to be the only difference between these staterooms and the Deluxe Family Oceanview rooms. They both offer all the comforts of home with a Sealy Posturepedic Premium Plush Euro-top mattress, Frette 100% Egyptian cotton linens, and premium bath towels.

Do deluxe family staterooms feature a magical porthole?

For added Disney magic, all Inside Staterooms feature a Magical Porthole, providing a real-time view outside of the ship that reflects the actual stateroom's location—port or starboard. Be on the lookout; you never know who or what might pop by!

What is Deluxe Oceanview stateroom with Navigator's Verandah?

Unique to this stateroom is the distinctive verandah, which is enclosed for added privacy and features a large open-air porthole set in a solid white wall above the railing. It's a beautiful spot from which you can sip your morning coffee, read your favorite book or enjoy a cocktail at sunset.

What does Category 5A mean on Disney Cruise?

The main difference in these staterooms is their location. The 5A staterooms are located around Deck Seven, midship while the 5Bs are forward and aft of the 5As on Deck Seven. The 5Cs are located on Deck Six forward and aft.
